Going forward, we are introducing a small change to how rally and social fees are collected.

All attendees will now be asked to pay for rallies approximately two weeks prior to the event taking place. Where a social fee applies, this will be collected at the same time. This request will come to you via email.  This means that all ralliers will be required to make payment in advance via BACS for both the rally fee and any associated social fee.

A place will only be fully confirmed once payment has been received.
Refunds and cancellations

We understand that, occasionally, circumstances arise that mean members are unable to attend an event they have booked and paid for.
Refund requests should be made to the Treasurer, who will refer them to the Committee for consideration. This ensures decisions are fair, consistent, and not the responsibility of any one individual.

Refunds will be considered for valid and unavoidable reasons, such as illness, bereavement, or other significant unforeseen circumstances beyond a member’s control.

Why we are making this change

Paying in advance helps the Committee to:

• manage bookings more effectively
• confirm numbers in good time
• pay landowners and venues promptly
• purchase required items for social events in good time
• avoid the Centre being left out of pocket
• ensure events run smoothly for everyone involved

This approach also brings us in line with the arrangements already used by many other Centres.
