​Chairlady’s Message for 2025
I would like to thank everybody for their support and letting me run another year as your chair.  We have had a very slow 2024 year with some of our rallies at a loss, but we are not here to make a profit as we are not a profit organisation.  We are here to have fun, get to know everyone, and also to make friends.

This coming year we have taken on new members of the committee.  I’d like to mention Paul Marsh and Pat Robers as new members.  Clare Danks who has taken over as Treasurer.  I would like to welcome ack Tim Handley as our new Rally Secretary, (but we will also help with this role).  Unfortunately, due to other commitments Stuart Guy has stepped down as Plaque Secretary and Steve Spurrier has now taken this role over as well as merchandiser.  Jodie Guy is still our administrator but unfortunately, we have also lost Norman Lucas who was our digital champion.  Alison Reeves will be taking over redesigning the website for the forseeable future with Jodie Guy and others managing our Facebook page. The website will contain a list of our rallies and further details on individual pages with a booking link for each rally.  Members have been emailed with a basic rally book and the full rally book will be available to download on the website home page.  We will also be sending an email newsletter each month and this will also be posted on our website to read and download. Our rallies will also be in booklet form within the next two weeks and will also be on the Caravan and Motorhome Club Site to book. 

For coming year, I will be open to a lot of suggestions from the committee with ideas for events on rallies and also how we can grow the club and gain more members.  The future can look good if we all work as a team.

Again, I would just like to thank everyone for running rallies as without marshals we would not be a club.  I’d like to thank everybody for attending our rallies and other club members who attend our rallies too.  We like to know that other club members enjoy coming to our rallies and we welcome them with open arms all the time.

Many thanks to my committee for the last year and in advance I would like to say many thanks for the up-and-coming year and standing by me.  Let’s make 2025 a year to be proud of.
